Job Description : IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Deputy Laboratory Director position at its facility in Greeley, CO. This position would involve taking back-up responsibility for both the Micro (food safety) and Chemistry (nutritional) labs.Applicants must possess a BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field.Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:- Strong attention to detail- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications- Multitasking capability- Ability to work in a fast paced environment- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Self-motivated- Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory- Familiarity with laboratory safety guidelinesDeputy Laboratory Director duties include but are not limited to: assisting the laboratory director in carrying out responsibilities as assigned by regional or main office, filling in for other positions as needed, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System, management of personnel, training personnel, customer support, data review, QC program review, and providing support for repair and replacement of laboratory equipment and parts.Due to exposure to various food allergens in the laboratory environment, applicants with moderate-to-severe food allergies are discouraged from applying.IEH requires that all employees be fully vaccinated (as defined by CDC guidelines) for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
