Position Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for providing professional and supportive service for all groups, programs & special events at 1440 Multiversity. The Event Manager provides timely communication and correspondence with clients & faculty ensuring all aspects of their events are planned and carried out smoothly. This position provides crucial support to the Senior Event Manager and production team, helping to develop efficient and organized systems that support the successful execution of all details related to the 1440 event experience for on-site multi-day programs, conferences, group meetings, ongoing classes, events and interdepartmental meetings. This is an integral position, providing exceptional service and assistance to group sales, programming, special events and the production team while ensuring events are serviced to our standards.
Essential skills and experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism with faculty, clients, and staff.
Strong organizational skills and thoughtful attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple competing tasks.
