Position : Human Resources Assistant

Job Description : Will perform daily attendance processing, assist with recruitment, interview process, workers compensation, disciplinary meetings, and other duties as needed. 90 day probationary period, must be able to pass a drug test/background check. The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of Amanda Manufacturing’s human resource department.
Ability to maintain accurate and up to date human resource files, records, and documentation
Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
Maintain integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
Provide clerical support to the HR department
Conduct and/or assist with new hire orientation
Perform other duties as assigned
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications
Prolonged periods of sitting at desk and working at computer
