Job Description : Overview:
As a Content Operations and manual migration, you will be responsible for working as a team in manually migrating a website content over to Hexagon’s new website instance.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for taking content from different sources like Ms excel/word or GatherContent software and placing it in website using sitecore
Educational Qualifications:
Any degree with good communication skills and good knowledge about Ms Excel and Word usage.
Skills Required:
An appreciation and understanding of Websites, Sitemaps, Information Architecture – The way content is laid out on a website and the willingness to learn principles to author content to a website
Proficient working with Excel, Word and other spreadsheet tools with a willingness to learn how to setup and use (Filters, Pivots Lookups and simple functions)
A good understanding of URL structures and placement/generation of URL’s to the website Information Architecture
A fair understand of SEO Keywords and Meta-tags and the willingness to learn and author page content, SEO attributes and creatively test built pages against a template design specification
An eye for visual detail to map content pages to pre-defined template structures
A smart learner with a troubleshooting mindset to identify impediments and determine methods and approaches to address them
A strong willingness to learn how to manually author content from multiple source systems (Word, Gathercontent, Excel, Smartsheet etc) to a Sitecore 10 CMS Platform and the tenacity to learn and master new tools, processes and applications
Self-motivated with good spoken and written communication and reporting skills
