Job Description : LOGISTICS SUPPORTAbility to get to work on time each day.Ability to think and reason clearly regarding matters of importance to the CompanyMonitor the status of equipment used in the delivery process to ensure availability for the planned schedule:Planned preventive maintenance.Unplanned repairs.Determines whether substitution or additional temporary resources are needed and recommends same.Regular communications with the Logistics Team and the Operations Manager (or their designee) any exceptions that may impact the planned execution of the outbound logistics plans to find resolution to any problems.Support driver operations ahead of departures and while on the road:Communicate the planned personnel staffing plans.Assist in securing lodging.Assist with fuel or other needs for drivers in transit.Monitor daily logistics execution:Use the resources available to monitor real-time schedule attainment.Communicate proactively with customers and drivers to minimize schedule exceptions.Communicate exceptions with internal CSR staff proactively.Written and oral communications with management with respect to issues pertaining to deliveries and employee-related issuesCommunicate exceptions with Logistics Planning staff to coordinate any adjustments needed.Accept incoming calls and emails with requests for ETA information related to in-process deliveries.Assist CSR staff with ETA information related to future shipments.Research and resolve exceptions reported during delivery attempts.Research and resolve exceptions discovered in shipment close process. (packing list inspection)These activities will require interaction with the production team on the production floor as well as movements within finished goods storage locations and will require lifting and moving items that may weigh up to 50 lbs.Ability to be in the production area around operating equipment on a daily basis.Ability to assist other employees in production, staging, and loading of trucks from time to time, requiring lifting, dragging, and moving items up to 50 feet.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Associate (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
