Follow company guideline for Service Request. Work hand and hand with your Maintenance Team and Property Team to provide great customer service to our Residents. The perfect fit will take ownership of their property and take pride in the appearance of their Apartment community, it’s amenities, grounds and buildings.Responsibilities include: Assist with the supervision vendor work performed on the propertyMaintain Inventory levels, submit order to Property Manager for approval of all necessary supplies, including housekeeping.Ensure OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies are always complied withPerform, schedule daily maintenance and preventative maintenanceComplete unit turns (Make Ready)Assist with the bid processAssist in the training of Maintenance TeamEnsure work areas, tools, and equipment are clean and orderlyMaintain MSDS sheets as well as replacement logsHandle all lock-changes as a result of evictions or otherwiseFollow company guidelines regarding Service RequestsBe available to work on an on-call basisReport unusual or extraordinary observation to Property MangerRemove snow and ice as necessaryEnsure necessary tools are on handRequirements: Apartment maintenance/handyman experience A MUSTHVAC certified or the ability to become certified, plumbing, and electricalSelf-motivated with attention to detailAbility to operate various hand tools including power toolsAbility to maintain positive relationships with Residents and VendorsSupervisory experience preferredWe are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer and make employment decisions without regard to age, race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, disability, veteran status, genetic information or other protected class.
