We serve 36 school districts across 32 counties in schools and beyond the classroom to ensure every student, regardless of race, zip code, or socioeconomic background, has what they need to realize their potential.Our Solution to the Dropout Crisis: Every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school. The CIS model includes holistic supports and wraparound services implemented with high fidelity across our statewide network of affiliates, and is validated by a 5-year independent evaluation resulting in the strongest reduction in school dropout rates of any existing fully scaled dropout prevention organization.Job Summary: The Manager of Network Engagement promotes positive engagement with and supports improved performance of the CIS of Georgia Local Network Affiliates and CIS of Georgia Direct Service Subsidiaries in order to further advance a culture of quality, cooperation, innovation, and continuous improvement with the goal of high functioning organizations providing high quality student service delivery.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provide Support and Training to Local Network Affiliates and CISGA Direct Service Subsidiaries Serve as a designated point-of-contact and resource for Executive Directors, Boards of Directors and local Champions Councils Develop an annual CISGA Training Plan that facilitates evidenced-based, high-impact learning, coaching and skills-based training to deepen impact and grow reach Facilitate the provision of direct and indirect support to local affiliate Executive Directors, Boards of Directors and Champions Councils through leadership convenings, on-site training, webinars, regional round-tables, information resources, technical support, and networking opportunities, with emphasis on best practices in organizational management, risk management, strategic planning, report compliance, resource development, Board & Champions Council development, and non-profit operations Ensure each affiliate receives at least one on-site visit from CISGA staff annually Facilitate the development and implementation of New Executive Director Orientation, inclusive of CISGA departments, to include CIS history & mission, the CIS Model, Accreditation Process, CIS network operations & structure, CISGA and CIS National protocols and CISGA state office and CIS National resources Facilitate positive affiliate engagement in the Reaccreditation process through the provision of on-site Board of Director orientations, training & round-table opportunities, on-site support, maintenance of the Accreditation Toolbox, communicating updates from National, and periodic check-ins with cohort affiliates Provide support as needed to CISGA Direct Service Subsidiaries to build Advisory Council capacity including strategic recruitment, resource development, stakeholder engagement and advocacy with an eye towards growth and sustainability.Network Management and Administrative Activities Serve as primary point of contact between affiliates, CISGA, and CIS National on matters related to the accreditation process and Reaccreditation Reviews; assure network affiliates annual accreditation process self-assessments are completed and submit report to CIS National; communicate accreditation process related issues and/or strategic implications to CISGA leadership Manage archival of all records and reports related to affiliate Reaccreditation Assist in the management of affiliates or communities transiting to a CISGA Direct Service Subsidiary, including meetings with stakeholders, notification to CIS National, provision of required paperwork to CIS National, and archive copies of all documentation Manage the process of affiliates transitioning out of the CIS network including: the development of a Transition Plan; facilitating the implementation of the Transition Plan with the affiliate leadership; notification to CIS National; provision of required paperwork to CIS National (Transition Workplan, Notification Letter from affiliate, Board Minutes, Certificate of Dissolution or Name Change); archive of copies of all documentation and the Trademark License Agreement revocation letter from CIS National Collaborate with CISGA staff to assure that an annual Data Verification, Parent/Guardian Consent, and Background Verifications are conducted per State Office Standards Promote CIS brand and CIS of Georgia led initiatives, ensuring that CISGA and CIS National protocols are implemented.Other Travel to local affiliate and subsidiary locations, the CIS of Georgia State Office, and all meeting and training venues Document affiliate support and contact using the Field Service Log in Kentone Work in committees internal and external to CIS of Georgia and attend committee functions as appropriate Participate and attend all state-wide events and meetings Assist in grant development, writing and management as appropriate or requested Perform other duties as assignedPosition Requirements Perform other duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services or related field from an accredited four-year college or university, post baccalaureate education & Master’s degree preferred Five years of experience in management of an organization, department or business serving populations in need. Executive level non-profit experience preferred Strong communication skills including ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of top management, public groups, boards of directors, clients, government officials, and business executives Good math skills resulting in the ability to develop, present, and understand information in forms of raw data, charts, graphs, and budgets Strong reasoning ability enabling incumbent to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
