Job Description : We are searching for a Medical Receptionist with proven organizational and administrative skills. To ensure success, Medical Receptionist must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies.Medical Receptionist Responsibilities: Greet and attend to patients in person and virtually.Collect demographic information, insurance and co-pays.Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors and patients.Maintain business inventory such as checking supplies.Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.Maintain confidentiality of all medical providers, staff and patient’s information.Schedule appointments for multiple providers.Complete accurate documentation.Medical Receptionist Requirements: At least 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a Medical Receptionist role or similar role.Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulationsInnovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task.Strong organizational, administrative and planning skills.Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.Experience working with different EHR systems.Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: Multiple Locations
