Job Description : This is not a remote position. You must currently live on the Island of Oahu and complete the required skills assessments to be considered for an interview. Requires daily travel to various locations on Oahu throughout the workday as a field representative. Must have dependable transportation.We have a fantastic tribe. Our team has high ethical and integrity standards.Community Ties of America, Inc (CTA) certifies/licenses Community Care Foster Family Homes, Case Management Agencies, Nurse Aide Training Programs and Adult Day Care Centers Statewide. We are seeking a full-time candidate to cover the Island of Oahu. Most locations are in the Waipahu area. The position does not perform any direct clinical nursing.Description: Nurse surveyors apply system analysis skills and inductive reasoning skills to determine a providers’ degree of compliance with applicable standards related to federal, state and local rules and regulation. Reviews client, personnel and administrative records. Inspects physical environment of facility. Prepares deficiency reports that clearly link deficiencies with applicable rules. Writes other required reports and performs complaint investigations as assigned. Will process plan of corrections and applicable survey documents. Most field work must be completed between 8am and 430p Monday through Friday with rare evenings/weekends for unannounced quality assurance visits.Qualifications: Have a current Hawaii RN license. Two years working with the elderly/disabled. Strong technology and typing skills. Field work will be performed using an iPad air with Microsoft and iOS applications. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, highly organized and able to work independently with quiet space for a small home office. Candidate should have knowledge of state survey/inspections. Long term care experience preferred. The team player we select to take on this highly visible, challenging role will have strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, expertise in interviewing and experience in a culturally diverse work environment.Must not have any affiliation with any provider that CTA certifies/licenses.
