Overview
The Nuuly Analytics team leads strategic initiatives across the business, helping bring data-driven insights to other functions, including marketing, user experience, planning, logistics, customer service, as well as our own data science and machine learning projects.
The ideal Junior Analyst has an eye for fashion, a passion for data, and doesn’t want to have to choose between them. They are curious, strategic, and love getting in the weeds to identify trends. They are comfortable synthesizing data from various marketing sources and weaving them into one narrative. They are organized and attentive to detail, enjoy learning from others, and are eager to grow their skill set.
Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data from marketing platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) to provide recommendations and insights to the marketing team.
Measure performance of ad campaigns and creative content.
Analyze customer segments & identify what resonates with different groups of customers.
Understand and interrogate data via Google BigQuery (SQL) and Google Analytics.
Provide thorough QA and verification of accurate analyses.
Plan, execute, and evaluate tests to inform strategic decisions around promotions and marketing spend.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, or 0-2 years hands-on experience in a quantitative role
Job Skills
Familiarity with basic statistical concepts
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Must be detail-oriented
Experience with SQL and Google Analytics is a plus, but not required
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline
