Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Prompt, friendly and courteous recognition of customers
Operate multi-line telephone system to answer, screen, forward calls, take messages and call accounts with outstanding balances
Addressing customer needs
Operate computer, scanner, copier machine to retrieve messages or transmit documents
Use industry software to update and maintain customer records, document customer communications, and transmit information to staff
Use Microsoft Office to maintain data spreadsheets and prepare documents
Collect, sort, and distribute deliveries and messages appropriately
Maintain inventory levels of required office supplies
File and maintain paper records
Use industry software to post payments, process credit cards and process statements
Other duties as assigned

Heavy inbound calls: Being the #1 Lawn Care Company in the valley, we experience an extremely high volume of phone calls. Our customers are passionate about their lawns and landscape. While most are very pleasant, some customers are verbally aggressive and may target you with their concerns. This can be HARD to not take personally, it is important to have thick skin and brush these situations off.
Customer Service: Our customers are demanding, and so are we! Landscapes are an investment that require a lot of effort from everyone involved. We ask that our members set themselves apart from the average by providing a higher level of dedicated service and being prepared to have some difficult conversations. -We pride ourselves in the quality of our work, but we understand that we are only human, and mistakes can happen! You must be willing to be held accountable to our standards and have the tough conversations when necessary!
Fast Paced/Multi-tasking: Here at Mesa Turf Masters things are happening at a rapid pace, and we require our employees to be able to juggle multiple projects or tasks at once and be prepared to take on something new at a moment’s notice. This requires the RIGHT person who possesses the ability to prioritize and manage their time effectively. If you are looking for more of a laid-back, low pressure, slower work pace, we would not recommend this position for you.
Demanding Schedule: Lawn care and landscaping is a seasonal job. Our primary work season is from typically from mid-February to mid to late November, weather permitting. Our employees are supported with job attached unemployment through the off season, while some earn winter hours. This time frame limits our ability to accommodate extensive vacation time as each of our team members serves a pivotal role throughout the season.

Each day is different and presents its own unique set of challenges but overcoming these provides the satisfaction of a job well done and fair compensation for it!
