As a result, it takes repeated manual design and training iterations for models to be deployed, which in turn demands an extraordinary level of energy and engineering time for AI to reach production.OmniML is an early-stage startup targeting these big gaps. Backed by established VCs and lead by MIT EECS professor Song Han and world-leading researchers and industry experts, OmniML makes major ML tasks 10x faster and more than 30% more accurate on different edge devices. The core product offering is a training platform that automates model co-design, training, and deployment targeting GPUs, AI SoCs, and even tiny MCUs. Our technology has already demonstrated significant gains in model performance and cost reduction in the initial collaboration with large customers in multiple vertical markets.This role reports to the Head of Business Operations and will support both daily operations and hiring procedures. You will be a good fit if you have already proven your strength as an office manager, administrative assistant, or HR in a role in sales and/or office support for a small but fast-growing company. You are very comfortable and efficient working on your own with minimal supervision and you can get done what needs to be done. Independent, efficiency, precise, detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, involved in all aspects, are all attributes that describe you.We are currently a small team so set the role as part-time to start, and later will move to full-time as the team expands. You will focus on one area based on your interest, skills, and strengths.Curretnly we are looking for candidates support on below area:Office ManagementSupport new office set up and managementHandle office supplies and office equipment, lunch order and later, employee lunch plan, mails and other general office management task as neededManage and facilitate expenses report, review the teams expense reportManage signing of contracts, NDA etc through DocuSignAssist with travel booking (hotel, air tickets etc)Business OperationsManaging appointments & schedules meetingsManage the purchase order, sales order documentation process and ensure timelines are adhered toMonitor and direct colleagues for proper and timely document production and submissionRegister new vendors and customers and ensure all documentation is in orderSupport on the logistic part of the marketing eventHR AssistantIn charge of the interview set up and coordinationWork with the Legal team to ensure compliance with current labor regulations and monitor legislative and law changes; update employment-benefit plans and plan documents as needed.Serve as the primary point of contact for various immigration-related inquiries, including work permits (OPT/CPT for F-1 students), work visa (H-1B etc)Perform day-to-day HR processes such as to assisting with PTO and timekeeping administration (we have it all set up in the system, just need to facilitate to make sure each one on the same page)Draft JD with supervisor’s support, monitor the hr portalManage full-cycle employment including onboarding, employee record updates, performance trackingPlan and organize holiday parties and team-building events.Job Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All employees who come to the office to work are required to take covid vaccinesEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Office management or operation: 3 years (Preferred)Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
