Job Description : Minimum qualifications:

5 years of experience in program management on cross-functional projects.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA, graduate degree, or equivalent practical experience in the music industry.
Experience in strategic or annual planning for large organizations.
Ability to create effective relationships by collaborating with and influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority.
Ability to challenge the status-quo, carry bold/innovative ideas to completion, work in ambiguity, and manage changing priorities.
Ability to recognize operational needs while anticipating issues and digesting/translating requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, strategic, analytical skills, and written/verbal communication skills with excellent business acumen.

The mission of the Music Operations Program Management team is to ensure that our YouTube ecosystem and processes are healthy, efficient, and follow our Music contractual obligations. As an Operations Program Manager, you will coordinate large-scale projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment while working closely with the Label Operations team on cross-functional projects. You will collaborate with teams of music publishers, record labels, collection societies, and artists to help develop businesses and content on our platform. You will engage with Operations teams, surface problems to our technical teams, drive analytical insights, and liaise with Business/Legal teams. You will work on and complete operational projects. You’ll program manage projects to ensure that operational processes are optimized.

Responsibilities
Establish and optimize operating processes to effectively manage the organization by partnering closely across multiple functions simultaneously.
Use cross-functional knowledge to understand business requirements, connect ideas, and enable faster decision-making/execution.
Manage annual strategic/business planning processes in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Facilitate communication and decision-making with leaders and teams by delivering critical pieces of analyses, data-based insights, and recommendations to help shape the goal of the project and facilitate business.
Lead and support critical, complex, and strategic projects based on emergent business needs through the entire project life cycle.
