Job Description : Parts AssociateMentor MFGMFG is a proud member of the northeastern Ohio community and has been serving the public for over 30 years. Family owned and operated, we are the largest Kubota dealer in Northern Ohio. At our Middlefield and Mentor locations we specialize in providing our customers with a personalized experience with our knowledgeable and friendly staff. Each store is a full service Kubota Dealership that emphasizes a focus on providing quality customer service to the surrounding community.The Parts associate will keep accurate inventory records in the database as well as in the physical locations. The position also includes ordering inventory to keep proper stock levels of inventory. The candidate must be able to help customers by properly identifying needed items, using parts catalogs and computer systems, billing merchandise orders, and making necessary entries to the Aspen Inventory Parts system. The Parts Representative will also distribute special order parts, receive warranty parts, properly stock products and perform all other duties as assigned by the Parts and Store Manager.General ResponsibilitiesMaintain stock levels of inventory through computer ordering system.Organize stock in both physical locations as well as keeping the inventory database accurate.Check in and put away daily incoming freight and stock orders.Ability to maintain organization and be motivated to help others.Place special orders for non-stock parts and Service Department requests.Maintain part return records.Return all unsold merchandise immediately to the correct stock location.Maintain new and existing customers in database.Must have general knowledge of power equipment.Keep a friendly atmosphere while maintaining efficiency.Customer ServiceMust be able to deal with customers over the phone as well as in person.Pull customer parts upon request.Inform customers of substitution or modification of parts as needed.Process payment transactions.Examine returned parts to determine if defective and exchange part or provide refund.Maintain cleanliness in work area daily (i.e. all parts, tools, and equipment put away, trash removed, etc.)Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesStrong working knowledge of PC and internet navigation.Highly motivated and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.Strong focus on customer service.Strong attention to detail.Able to work effectively in a team environment.Able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.Able to complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.Able to process work with accuracy.Basic knowledge of tractor equipment and regular maintenance needs.Basic knowledge of office machines, including copier, fax and printer.Able to communicate effectively as appropriate for the needs of the customer or coworkers.Able to work a flexible schedule as needed.Demonstrates openness to new procedures, technology and structure.Training AvailableAchieve working knowledge of Aspen Inventory Parts system.Stay current on new procedures for shipping, returning and ordering parts.Stay current on new product bulletins and catalogs.Attend store meetings and training classes.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsAble to stand for an extensive amount of time.
