Job Description : Pre-Hire Requirements: Must pass all background checks and investigation. This may include, but is not limited to, oral board evaluation(s), written assessment, computer voice stress analysis or polygraph, psychological evaluation, integrity interview, school and employer record checks, criminal background checks, credit analysis, financial records assessment, review of driving record, and reference checks. Duties also support law enforcement efforts through administrative processes and procedures related to documenting, maintaining and controlling police records, statistics and information. Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, this position will be filled at either the Technician I, II or III level.Minimum qualifications:· 1 – 5 years administrative or office related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education· Ability to obtain Notary Public within 1 month of hire· Ability to obtain CCIC/NCIC certification within 6 months of hire and ability to maintain annually· Completion of ICS100 and ICS700 within 3 months· Valid Colorado driver’s license and satisfactory driving recordDesired qualifications/skills: Bilingual skills in Spanish is also highly desirable.Technician I, Qualifications and Hiring Range: $19.15 – $22.98 hourly (Max range: $26.81)Requires One – Two years of office, clerical or administrative experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.Technician II, Qualifications and Hiring Range: $22.95 – $27.54 hourly (Max Range: $32.13)Requires Two – Four years of office, clerical or administrative experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Requires International Association for Property and Evidence Certification, G290 Basic Public Information Officer, G291 Joint Information Center, G191 ICS Emergency Operations Center Interface.Technician III, Qualifications and Hiring Range: $26.46 – $33.08 hourly (Max Range: $39.69)Requires Three – Five years of office, clerical or administrative experience; and Associates Degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education in addition to all certifications for Technician II.Other position requirements: · Ability to obtain Basic Public Information Officer training (G290 Basic Public Information Officer) within 1 year of hire· Ability to obtain NIBRS certification within two years of hire and ability to maintain every 3 years after· Ability to obtain Colorado Master Records Certification by CCRN within two years of hire and ability to maintain every 3 years afterPosition Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time benefited position (1.0 FTE). Normal days and hours of work are 8 hours daily Monday through Friday through Monday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Position may require attendance at evening meetings and some night community meetings.
