Job Description : Fleet of six USCG inspected vessels. There is plenty to do keeping up with maintenance and USCG safety requirements.Candidate must be able to work independently and be able to effectively prioritize and plan maintenance and repairs.Desired skill set (we don’t expect to get them all in one person)maintenance of both diesel and gasoline outboard enginesexperience troubleshooting engine issues12V trouble shooting and repairscarpentry for wood repairsexperience with fiberglassfamiliarity with onboard plumbingsteering systems and hydraulicsscheduling, preparing, executing and following up with USCG inspectionsexpense documentation and online maintenance logPretty much everything that can go wrong with a boat will eventually in this job. We take them to dry dock each boat every couple of years. The candidate won’t be the person sanding and painting, as we have labor for that, but you are job manager and have to be able to keep people on task.Communicate with captains about priority items.Collaborate with ownership about major preventative overhauls.Job Type: Full-timePay: $3,000.00 – $5,000.00 per monthBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOn callCOVID-19 considerations:All staff are vacinnated.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
