We also offer:Pay Rate is $18.00 plus $1.00 shift differential (2nd and 3rd)Sign on bonusCOVID clean facilitiesDaily Pay optionMonthly Production Incentive BonusOpportunity for promotion after 60 daysPaid holidays, gap holidays, paid time off (PTO), paid maternity and paternity leaveMedical, vision, short-term disability, dental, a health reimbursement account (HSA), a flexible spending account (FSA), an employee assistance program (EAP), a 401(k) plan with a 6% match with immediate vesting, a fitness reimbursement program, education reimbursements, referral incentives, performance recognition, company parties, and more.Job DescriptionThe General Production role based in Salt Lake City, UT works on the front line for RPCs, 640 cheesbox and sortation/repair as needed to ensure the ongoing processing of our reusable containers in regrds to quality, quantity and food safety.In this role, you will:Load handheld Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) onto the production line for sanitation processingProficient and able to operate each position within production line as neededInspect RPCs and 640 components for quality and remove any waste material, stickers, tags, damaged RPC and 640 components, and non-Tosca RPCs from incoming inventory before sanitationOperate automated machinery per production planMaintain clean and safe work environment; identify and report any food or environmental safety hazard concernsOperates equipment in alignment with Tosca’s safety protocols including – Lockout/Tag-out, chemical handlings, etc.Monitors supplies or materials used for processing and quality to customer expectationsAssist with minor machine adjustments or fixesPerforms other related duties and assignments as required within the service centerQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageRelated experience working in a manufacturing/production environmentAbility to read and understand work instructions pertaining to machine operation and food safety programsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand on a concrete floor 8-12 hours per dayManual manipulation of containers (assemble or collapse tote with bending wrists)Reaching, bending, and twisting frequentlyMust be able to see labels on totes and inspect totes for quality concernsAbility to distinguish different totes, including color and sizeAbility to work in a warm climateLift 7lbs-18lbs on a frequent and continuous basis.Lift up to 30lbs on a periodic basisPerform work above shoulder height with regularityAbility to work occasional flexible hours and overtime based on company/volume needsWork Schedule1st Shift hours are from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.2nd Shift hours are from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.3rd Shift hours are from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.Ready to Join the Tosca Team?We understand your time is valuable, and that is why we have a swift and easy application process.
