We bring resources and infrastructure to schools in the developing world for deserving communities through our Building Hope Campaign and offer our Building Cultural Bridges program to connect students in the United States with their peers across the globe. We proactively advocate for equal access to high quality education and STEM careers for women, girls, and under-represented groups.Position DescriptionThis is a remote position, with travel required. The successful applicant may live in the United States near any major airport. The Program Manager will be primarily responsible for oversight and execution of our Building Cultural Bridges Program, including expansion into Polynesia, Asia, and South America. The successful applicant will develop and execute the growth plan with the Executive Director in consultation with the Board of Directors. This position also has direct responsibility for the Building Hope Program, with additional partial responsibilities within our Professional Development and Research programs.Required Qualifications- 4+ years of experience leading small and diverse groups on field based experiences- Experience with international travel, especially to sub-saharan Africa- Ability to meet, connect, and earn the trust of individuals at all levels of partner and customer organizations- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey both simple and complex topics to a wide audience- Ability to travel overnight; domestic and international; up to 50%- Possess strong business acumen- Willingness and desire to partner with other organizations to achieve nonprofit mission- Strong interest in self-improvement and continuous learningDesired Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to set and manage customer and partner expectations.- Sales acumen- Demonstrated passion for the culture, ecology, and history of Hawai’i, Polynesia, and other listed expansion areas.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Commission payCOVID-19 considerations:This is a remote position with travel required.
