Quality Control Laboratory Technician Trainee
Huntsman’s Advanced Materials Division is now searching for a new Quality Control Laboratory Technician Trainee for our plant located in Ashtabula, OH.
As the Quality Control Laboratory Technician Trainee, you will:
Be responsible for testing Quality Control (QC) laboratory for in-process samples.
Use standard operating procedures, benchmarks and quality standards to compare testing outcomes.
Be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols, following standardized operating procedures, training documents, and company policies.
Be able to work with limited supervision, after training.
Skills and experiences required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Preferred professional experience in a laboratory or manufacturing facility.
Fundamental computer operating skills
Fundamental basic knowledge for reading, writing, arithmetic
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Interpersonal skills to work with lab and operation associates
Aptitude to learn and apply scientific concepts and testing principles relating to lab and chemistry
Detail oriented
Responsibility, accountability, and integrity focused
Working Conditions:
General office mixed with laboratory/factory environment.
Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 35% of the time.
Work is mainly performed within a laboratory/office environment, with standard laboratory equipment available. Factory environment will require compliance with standard PPE requirements.
