Position : Quality Control Inspector (Night Shift) – VA Site Plant 2
Job Description : Open PositionsLevel 1 and Level 2 Night Shift Quality Control InspectorSCOPE:Automated and Manual Dimensional Inspection of precision engineered hardware for the Aerospace industry.Perform a variety of dimensional and visual Inspection techniques, physical test equipment, and instruments. Knowledge of common GD&T practices preferred.Completion of assembly level and component level First Article Inspection reports.Verify that incoming, in-process, and outgoing material and associated quality records meets quality standards of the company and/or the customer.Verify the condition, quantity and paperwork associated with customer returns and supplied material.Must be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and be able to calibrate measuring instruments per internal procedures.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Dimensional and qualitative inspection of product per requirements.Completion of FAIR first article inspection reports in accordance with AS9102.Adherence to procedures for all documented processes.Inspect, record and assure that all incoming material meets drawing specifications.Control inspection gages calibration requirements and scheduleAssign lot numbers to all incoming material and or products.Prepare documents for related to material or process certifications.Willing to become proficient with new equipment and methods.Performs other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Must have a minimum of high school degree or equivalent.WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAINING:Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing and production environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.00 – $28.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftCOVID-19 considerations:COVID-19 considerations:To maintain a safe work environment, Company policy shall be complied with.All Employees require Covid-19 vaccinationEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Quality control: 1 year (Required)Language:English (Required)Work Location: One location
