Your responsibilities
Management of Vulnerability and Infrastructure Discovery processes for thyssenkrupp Material Services (320 Sites worldwide).
Must have completed Certified Ethical Hacking course
Align with Central Security Services in Germany (Vulnerability reporting and mitigation of findings), as well as the operations of infrastructure discovery processes using discovery tools (currently JDISC) incl. continuous update of CMDB tables based on discovered infrastructure, in close co-operation with India based ServiceNow consultants
Knowledge and some experience with Servers (Windows and Linux), Network Devices.
Hands-on experience in security analyses.
Ability to interpret and prioritize vulnerability scan results into remediation actions and tracking those actions through to completion.
Knowledge of patching programs of major hardware/software manufacturers.
Ability to analyze vulnerabilities. Familiarity with classes of vulnerabilities, appropriate remediation, and industry standard classification schemes (CVE, CVSS, CPE).
Configure Scanning engines (Nessus, JDISC) to reach each and every local network and device
Define / Manage / Monitor interfaces to consumers of the scan results, e.g. ServiceNow for CMDB CIs
Knowledge of API Technologies and their scripting (GraphQL, REST)
Infrastructure Penetration Testing / Security Hardening / Performing Vulnerability checks.
Optional: Security related professional certification (e.g. CEH, LPT, ECSA, CCNA, MCITP,CCNP).
Preferred: Script writing (Nessus Audit Policy / Python/Ruby / GraphQL).
Your profile
Candidate must have 4-5years of experience.
The person shall have responsible attitude to take up tasks, and keep colleagues informed.
Good English communication – verbal and written.
Punctuality in keeping all relevant stakeholders informed on key developments and progress.
Effective initiative and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Must have good fundamental and hands on knowledge.
Knowledge sharing.
Awareness of ITIL (e.g. v4 Foundation)
