Job Description : Introduction
Are you our next teammate? Soccer, football, cricket, lacrosse, basketball, etc.—we love them all, and you will too as one of our Sports Services Specialists. You will be able to utilize your depth of sports knowledge while assisting our community sports groups to schedule their activities across all our park and school sites. With dozens of sites and dozens of requests, our Sports Specialists are racing daily just to keep up with demand. Our Sports Services team must balance competing priorities, keep track of a multitude of schedules and requests, track invoicing, and provide the best communication and service possible to keep all these things running seven days per week. If you can put the team’s needs above your own, play an active role in achieving our team goals, and commit to exceptional service above all else, then we want you in our team colors.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Incumbents responsibilities includes the following:
Implementing existing and new programs.
Coordinating the operations of multiple facilities.
Assisting with marketing and promotions.
Supervising part-time staff.
Processing a variety of transactions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
We require a High School Diploma or GED, and 1 year of related experience (sports programs and community groups in a recreational setting).
PREFERENCES: the successful candidate will have…
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sports Management or related field.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong customer service work ethic.
Prior supervisory responsibilities.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Full-time exempt position; to include possible week night and weekend coverage. Schedule to follow normal operating hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $58,634 – $67,429 Annually
