Position : Support Associate Relations Specialist, HR
Job Description : Providing Human Resources support and advice to managers to ensure fairness and consistency in compliance with employment laws and Publix policy
investigating associate concerns and making recommendations to managers about the appropriate course of action to take
conducting employment-related investigations, and
facilitating training workshops on Human Resources topics.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in any field, or equivalent experience
one year Supervisory, Managerial, Staff experience with Publix; one year Human Resources experience with Publix; or two years Associate Relations or Labor Relations experience (including conducting investigations, interacting with management and employees)
must be at least 20 years old
must have a valid driver license and maintain an excellent driving record
ability and willingness to work variable and long hours in a sometimes contentious legal environment
flexible in dealing with a variety of situations and assignments
ability and willingness to travel, including overnight
excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
high level of maturity, discretion, tact, judgment and the ability to deal with confidential matters
ability to work well with others and be a team member in a positive manner
show enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work, and a
commitment to Publix and our Mission.
