Job Description : As a surgery scheduler you will be our first point of contact with our patients with that friendly phone etiquette is a must.Answer all incoming calls and route to appropriate staffReschedule and cancel appointments as neededSchedule new patient appointmentsCall patients to confirm appointments and reschedule if necessarySchedule surgeries in a timely mannerPrint and mail paperworkCall on new patient referralsCollect marketing data on spreadsheetAdjust surgery schedule to meet providers needsSkillsHands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)Professional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skillsCandidate must be self motivated with a high sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines.Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a medical clinic.High school degree;Medical Assistant certification required.Eclinical experience a PLUSJob Type: Full-timePay: From $15.00 per hourJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
