Job Description : Ankle and Foot Specialists of Marion is seeking an experienced surgery scheduler/prior authorization specialist to join our growing practice.Requirements: · Maintain a hardworking professional manner· Comply with HIPAA and Patient Confidentiality requirements· High attention to detail & organization· Able to take direction and work alongside Physicians· Coordinate and schedule all surgeries· Obtain prior authorizations for advanced imaging and surgeries· Work closely with office manager, medical assistant, and front desk staff to achieve practice goals and streamline office operations· Efficiently assist and execute tasks such as chart documentation, surgery scheduling, FMLA paperwork· Willingness to learn new skills; will train the perfect candidatePreference to someone who has experience with:· Strong customer service – retail or service industry background· Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, Outlook· Surgery Scheduling or Prior Authorization ExperienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingLife insurancePaid time offUniform allowanceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsSupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Marion, OH 43302: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
