Job Description : Hourly salary range: $28.67 to $32.31
Contract months: 12

Technology Support Specialist III
Function:
To provide the Tolleson Union High School District with support in all areas of computer and information systems functions including network administration.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college/university preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with software/application support in a school environment.
Evidence of the ability to troubleshoot issues as they may rise within a given application or process.
Experience in support of Edupoint Synergy’s SQL Based SIS Application.
Comprehensive understanding of using Microsoft Office applications, along with the ability of understanding how a student information system interacts with all applications used.
Ability to conduct project planning, problem solving, and participate with in a team environment for the implementation and maintenance of applications used and future applications within the district.
Knowledge or experience of the following applications: Edgenuity, Canvas, MasteryConnect, Nearpod, Achieve3000, and Edupoint Synergy.
Experience creating MS-SQL queries and .csv file creation for the ability of importing and exporting date from applications.
Strong orals and written communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
System administration of the key applications used within the district; Edgenuity, Canvas, MasteryConnect, Synergy.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving District applications; : Edgenuity, Canvas, MasteryConnect, Nearpod, Achieve3000, and Edupoint Synergy.
Participate on implementation teams when new applications are introduced for the district.
Implement and maintain the user interface, Single-Sign-On (SSO) between the applications used, the SIS system, and active directory.
Work directly with the district programmer to maintain the import and export process used to keep the applications up to date.
Conduct system analysis of data within the applications to confirm accuracy and to find errors that may be causing problems.
Provides end user direct support or coordinating assistance from our other IT support areas as required.
Assist in the ability of analytic creation within the district SIS system.
Keep up with other technology that is available within the education environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
