Job Description : Job DescriptionPosition OverviewResponsible for examining the more complex termite damage claims in assigned geographic region(s) to determine nature and extent of loss using estimates/appraisals to review and document claim. Conducts liability and root cause investigations on identified claims. Assists in determination of resolution of claim. This is an individual contributor position and does not manage people.Job ResponsibilitiesHandle termite damage claims (review and determine course of action on each claim assigned for supporting final disposition of a loss)Work directly with internal and external customers to develop evidence and establish facts on assigned claimsTravel to high risk/profile claims to determine root cause, remedial treatment requirements and proper scope of damage repairs.Conduct thorough investigations and keep accurate and relevant documentation of activity within each claim assignedOrganize, plan and prioritize work activities to track and stay current with claim assignments and to ensure prompt conclusion of claimsSupport BU and Field through branch visits to conduct training, claims investigations and resolution.Monitor Claims Xpress system to ensure claims from cradle to grave.Provide field training for branch management teams on proper claims handling, processing and use of Claims Xpress platform.Monitor and ensure that the Terminix Contractor Network is appropriately maintained to ensure contractor compliance and levels based on claim volume and need.Job Requirements5+ years experience in handling/processing termite damage claimsBachelor’s degree, preferredLicenses/certifications as required Excellent customer serviceDeliver resultsAbility to work independently and in team environmentProblem solving skillsExcellent influencing and negotiation skillsAbility to organize, plan and prioritize work activities to stay current with claim assignments and to ensure prompt conclusion of claimsDetail oriented/analyticalPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsThe physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential function to this job.
