Position : Turbine Wash Assistant (Cyclean) – ANC
Job Description : Position Summary: Part TimePerform turbine wash utilizing Cyclean wash equipment. Providing after-hours maintenance on-call support for the regional operational bases as directed. Maintain records related to maintenance performed on the aircraft.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to always maintain a professional appearance and demeanorKnowledge of computersRoutine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft system.Airframe, power plant repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements.Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft system.Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment.Accurately records time worked on a work order.Presents a clean and neat work area to our customers.Tows and parks aircraft.Performs other aircraft maintenance work as may be required.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical, as well as an FBI criminal background check.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications, skills, and abilities: High School Diploma or EquivalentKnowledge and Understanding of the English LanguageExcellent Communication Skills1 year of previous line maintenance experience preferred, not RequiredMilitary Experience preferred, not requiredAbility to legally operate a motorized vehicleBasic aircraft KnowledgePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the ability to:StandLie downKneelClimb stairs, scaffolds or laddersFrequently lift, pull, and hold objects weighing more than 70 poundsNoise and vibration are common when engines are on, so ear protection is necessary.* Working conditions: Turbine Washers usually work outdoors, sometimes in unpleasant weather. Often work under time pressure to maintain flight schedules to keep from inconveniencing customers.
