In this role, you will:Prepare, review and enter automobile, property and boat accounts (new and renewals) as well as more complex endorsements not handled by the Customer Service department.Evaluate existing and prospective customer policies by interpreting underwriting guidelines for the purpose of determining overall policy acceptability as well as appropriate premiums.Refer accounts outside of guidelines to an Underwriter or Team Manager for further review, as appropriate.Perform work efficiently and in compliance with statutory, regulatory, judicial and California Casualty’s standards.Work in conjunction with Claims, Finance, Customer Service and Sales to ensure accurate and timely policy processing.Provide extraordinary customer service by responding to internal and external customer requests within designated timeframes.The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge of automobile, property, boat and casualty insurance and assigned risk rules and underwriting procedures for multiple states (preferred, but not required)Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel requiredAbility to type 40+ WPM accuratelyExceptional attention to detail and analytical skillsGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyEducational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentThe pay range for this position in Colorado is $20.22 – $24.48 per hour however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
