Job Description : White Sands LLC is introducing destination resort unlike anything globally.Be part of history as we present a totally immersive experience. Our five-star offering has over 800 hotel rooms, 35,000 square feet of meeting space, 19 distinct food & beverage offerings, state of the art concert stage where we will host over 100 outdoor concerts a year, a pool deck that will accommodate over 5000 people for concerts, have over 6500 square feet of pool deck for relaxation, a day club in the center of our 6.5 acre piercing blue water feature surrounded by white sand.Wait, we also have a 130,000 sq foot indoor amusement park featuring Mattel themed attractions, 2 roller coasters, electric go-kart racing track, separate kids and teens club (ages 3 to 18), scuba school, 2,000 square foot luxury wedding chapel, recording/podcast studio, state of the art fitness center, retail and spa as well.RESPONSIBILITIES: · Hotel pre-opening experience required· Approaches all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service oriented manner.· Responsible for all aspects related to the hiring of associates (i.e. advertisements job postings recruiting interviewing processing transfers orientation etc.).· Responsible for orientation of all employees into the White Sands culture· Responsible for all internal associate transactions & processes (i.e. promotion transfer performance review termination etc.)· Implements and monitors employee relations and incentive programs; resolves issues as they arise.· Exhibits strong leadership skills· Conducts all benefit’s orientations· Manages COBRA program (property specific)· Ensures all employee evaluations are completed in an accurate and timely manner· Ensures compliance with all applicable employment practices and procedures.· Responsible for the accurate administration of associate compensation and benefits.· Investigates and manages workers compensation claims and hotel safety related issues.· Administrates facilitates monitors maintains and communicates Hotel policies and procedures.· Maintains associate and property Human Resource documents records and files as required by government regulations and White Sands policies and procedures.· Represent the HR department in a professional and respectful manner and maintains an open door policy.· Ensures staff compliance with HR policies and procedures.· Updates and submits required reports in a timely manner.· Maintains Employee recognition programs.· Participates in and monitors orientation and training programs.· Ensures managers are using positive coaching counseling and discipline to address issues/concerns.· Develops and monitors recruitment resources.· Implements a positive and fun service culture throughout the resort/ranch, always staying on brand.· Evaluates and selects among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.· Routinely meets deadlines and demonstrates the ability to multi task.· Demonstrates effectiveness in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.· Works with and understands financial information· Performs other duties as requested by management.QUALIFICATIONS: · At least 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a hotel or resort· Previous supervisory responsibility required.· Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws· Must be proficient in Windows operating systems· Familiar with Human Resources/employee regulations and laws and ensure that the property is in compliance.Job Type: Full-timePay: $150,000.00 – $170,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Opening hotel: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
