Job Description : JOB SUMMARY:Perform an array of accurate and efficient functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders in the warehouse to insure achievement of corporate and customer objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :Picks orders as assigned rapidly, efficiently, and accuratelyPacks orders as assigned rapidly, efficiently, and accuratelyOperates shipping system (if assigned) rapidly, efficiently, and accuratelyReceives incoming product as assigned rapidly, efficiently, and accurately. This can include loading, unloading, counting, verifying, putting away and collecting dataUnderstands barcode technology and operates RF equipment as assignedOperates automated picking equipment, power conveyors, and forklifts as assignedKnowledgeable with all applicable warehouse operational and quality proceduresKnowledgeable with all safety procedures and practices safe operation at all timesAssists in maintaining a neat and orderly warehouseConsistently achieves or exceeds warehouse operational pick/pack/ship/receive volume and quality standardsPositive attitude. Excellent time and attendance performanceOther duties as assignedSKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:High school diploma or GED equivalent required; must be 18 years of age or olderAbility to read and comprehend pick tickets, purchase orders, receiving slips, route slips and instructions.Must be able to do basic arithmetic; skill levels normally acquired through the completion of high school.Operates automated carts and other such machineryPrevious warehouse experience preferredKnowledge of Polaris product and parts preferredPrior forklift experience preferredBasic computer skills are a plusWORKING CONDITIONSStandard warehouse environmentLift, push, pull, or carry up to 35-50 lbs. individually, or 75 lbs. with a team liftAbility to stand/walk for lengthy periods of timeAbility to tolerate heights up to 26 feetRepetitive workDuring peak operational periods overtime may be required, including weekendsJob Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $15.18 – $20.75 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeSupplemental Pay:Bonus payLanguage:English (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
