Job Description : Savvee Consulting, Inc. is growing fast and we are looking for new talent to join our dynamic team!We are seeking to hire a Watch Officer to support our government client in Alexandria, VA. This role will utilize the full range of skills for a growing professional. Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Maintaining situational awareness of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) related events, incidents, and threatsProducing incident reports, creating reporting products, and supplying briefsMaintaining a database, tracking incidents, and ensuring reports are timely and accurateAnalyzing data and reporting all findings accordinglyProducing limited Geographic Information Systems (GIS) imagery to support reporting productsReviewing and updating briefs as neededUpdating watch turnover/pass down reportParticipating in the daily Operations CallsDrafting the Daily Operational Summary Report, Daily Briefing Slides, and other essential reporting productsRequesting data from Federal Protection Service (FPS) and DHS entities as neededAccessing, navigating, and utilizing law enforcement databases such as WebRMS, LEIMS, EIS, HSDN, HSIN, MISTAbility to accommodate shift work which may require working nights, weekends, and holidaysUnderstanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to clientDemonstrating a commitment to quality and customer supportPOSITION REQUIREMENTSHolds an active Secret ClearanceAbility to obtain a DHS SuitabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skills3+ years of experience in operation centers, emergency management, dispatch, or as a first responder (law enforcement/fire/rescue)Experience working in a 24x7x365 shift environmentProficient in Microsoft OfficeDesired Experience, Skills, and Certifications: Bachelor’s degreeExperience with Microsoft SharePointJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: One location
