Job Summary:

The Customer Service Workforce Analyst’s primary role is to effectively deliver real-time reporting with the purpose of optimizing resources to achieve business objectives. Key functional responsibility includes the ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of how planning/forecasting staffing requirements translate to the creation of optimal schedules and real-time (intra-day) management to support contact center operations. The Customer Service Workforce Analyst will also be required to carry out other duties, projects, or activities as specified by their management.

Role qualifications:
Ability to work with Workforce Management software to create schedules, performance tracking, reporting, and forecasting
Analytical skills for reviewing data/trends to draw conclusions and identify opportunities with key attention to detail
Complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking, and decision making
Organized with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, other departments and vendors
Ability to work independently under minimal guidance
Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions
Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and ability to maintain composure under pressure
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure
Prior experience with a Workforce Management tool (Calabrio, Avaya, etc.)
What you will be doing:
Analyze, monitor, and evaluates the function of the workforce (call or service) center by monitoring activities on a real-time basis
Create schedules and provide regular reports to management on workload and workforce
Work with Finance to maintain budget accuracy and improve forecast capabilities
Define both long-term strategies and ever-changing, short-term, and immediate workforce needs
Handle shift change requests and monitor new-hire, holiday, and seasonal shift needs
Update and maintain scheduling database with current information
Research, recommend, and implement call center technology and process improvements to reduce overall costs
