Job Description : Accounts Payable and Receivables Technician Rotation: RotationalSalary: DOEBenefits: Excellent Benefit PackageEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Payables: Review invoices for accuracy and completeness. Sort documents by account name/number.Ensure proper coding to general ledger accounts. Input invoice information into computer system and schedule for payment. Summarize process and generate invoice payments forVendors. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Cut AP checks, obtain required approvals, and distribute to vendors. Follow‐up with Vendors when questions arise.Reconcile vendor statements by examining records of amounts due and ensure all invoices are paid according to terms.Perform other clerical duties related to A/P as neededReceivables: Maintain up‐to‐date billing system, entering, reviewing, and posting batches, research unidentified payments, allocation of payments, process adjustments and reconciliation of accounts. Preparing and reconciling the store daily cash deposits. Processes and sends monthly statements to customers.Maintain accounts receivable customer files, investigate, and resolve customer queries, communicating with customers via phone, email, mail, fax or personally, maintain an accurateAR aging report, prepare, maintain, and run various reports.Perform other clerical duties related to A/R as needed.Experience: 3 years of general accounting experience with an emphasis in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. (Required)Proficient in Excel and Microsoft office programs.Knowledge of Accounting and bookkeeping software programs.Excellent oral and written communication skills.A valid driver’s license is required.Should be able to lift 25 pounds.Must be able to pass background and drug & alcohol screening, as well as fit for duty physical.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location
