Job Description : Growing Internal Medicine Clinic in search of an in house biller. The ideal individual is flexible, compassionate, professional and efficient. The successful individual will possess at least 1+ years medical billing experience and E-Clinical works (EMR) experience. Candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervisionDuties/Tasks:Creating and submitting hospital charges***Sorting daily mailPosting patient, medical records, and insurances paymentsReviews and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as requiredResearches and answers billing questionsResearch Patient balances when in questionHelps facilitate interoffice communication on error and denial trendsJoin monthly billing meetingReconcile front office patient payments on a weekly basisBalance Cash drawerSubmit Prior Authorizations for in-house Ultrasound Studies.Oversee 3rd Party Billing CompanyAddress all actions to practice and providerRequirements:Proficiency with Windows-based software, Microsoft Word, and Excel1+ year Medical Billing ExperienceBilling diploma/license/certificationJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $19.00-22 per hourBenefits:Sick Paid Time 40 hrs. per year upon hirePaid time off after 1st year 40hrsSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One locationJob Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Medical Billers & Coders: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
