Job Description : Job Summary: This position performs a wide variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. As bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining books for multiple companies in the cannabis industry. This position requires the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail. This is not an entry-level position, and prior accounting experience is required.Key Duties: Post transactions to general ledger(s)Manage AP/ARRequest and submit 8300’sDaily/Weekly Audit of SafesEnd of month Soft ReconciliationSome Cash HandlingQualifications: 1 year of accounting experience (required)Quickbooks Accounting software (preferred)METRC Transfers,Reports,sales experience (preferred)Alaska Marijuana Handler Permit (Required)Intermediate experience in Microsoft OfficeMust be able to work and problem solve independently(Candidates with Retail cannabis management or bookkeeping background highly encouraged to apply)Work RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Employee assistance programPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)quickbooks: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
