Job Description : Construction CoordinatorsSince 1968, Formetco, is a Family-owned company, headquartered in Duluth, GA. We are searching for an enthusiastic take charge individual to join our team, managing our customers experience through the manufacturing and installation process. Formetco goal is to provide excellent customer service with a goal of exceeding our customers expectation.Summary: Working in our Project Management Team, coordinating communications from our initial project on-boarding process, assisting project managers in managing the construction, and installation process. Coordinating communications between our Customers, Project Managers, Sales, Engineering, Vendors, and Subcontractors. Acquiring Subcontractors Bids, Obtaining Permits, manage invoicing or payment applications per AIA G-702, G- 703.Job Duties/Responsibilities: Experience in construction contracts and AIA contracts including G-702 & G-703 applications for payment along with obtaining Lien Waivers.Attend weekly Order Review meetings with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management.Utilize CRM to obtain key contact information of customers’ staff and subcontractors involved in each project.Schedule new customer project kick off calls with customers, sales, project management, and engineering.Obtain quotes from Vendors or Subcontractors based upon specifications or scope of work defined by the Project Manager or Engineering Manager.Review quotes with Project Manager or Engineering Manager once a vendor or subcontractor is selected.Review project deadlines provided in the specifications or scope of work, then obtain Purchase Order from Accounting.Manage the schedule for delivery for the goods or services.Serve as the focal point in obtaining customers graphics for signage.Get approval drawings produced by working with the customer to receive signed approval drawings of all signage. Will also obtain school colors for the development of game animations. Order the animations and forward to the Project Manager.Helpful if application has experience with drawing & video files and in addition can assist in the development of each.Perform other duties as required.Education/Experience/Skills: High school diploma or equivalent.Understanding of shop drawings.Previous experience working in construction industry, preferably with a General Contractor.Previous experience working with construction contacts, the payment process and forms, knowledge of payment and performance bonds, obtaining lead wavers, and filing of Notice to Owners Documents.MS Office proficiency required.Previous CRM experience a plus.Strong organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written skills.Currently a hybrid remote position (on-site 50% and at home 50%) after in office training.All candidates must have full authorization to work in the US (United States) without requiring current or future sponsorship.Must complete a pre-employment drug test and a background check.Formetco is a Drug Free Workplace.Formetco is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hourJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:Ability to commute/relocate:Duluth, GA 30096: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Application Question(s):Do you have experience working with construction contracts?Have you worked with AIA contracts and Payment Applications before?Experience:Construction Coordinators & Schedulers: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
