Job Description : HIRING URGENTLY: COVID SPECIMEN COLLECTOR (MA’s Preferred)Best Care Diagnostic Services LLC. is seeking reliable, professional, and motivated individuals to join our Covid-19 task force as a Specimen Collector.Responsibilities and DutiesConfirm patient identity, appointment time, and assign label to specimen container.Collection of specimen via nasal and nasopharyngeal swab.Proper handling of testing materials and packing them for transport according to guidelines issued by the receiving laboratory.Daily cleaning/disinfecting of work area and supplies.Qualified candidates may be asked to perform specimen collection via nasal and nasopharyngeal swab without injury or complication to patients of all ages, including children.Minimum QualificationsMust be reliable and dependable.Must have experience with nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs.Display compassionate, ethical, and professional demeanor.Ability to understand and follow written guidelines.Knowledge of equipment used such as iPhone, and iPad apps for patient information and specimen labeling.Ability to learn the procedure (nasal swab and nasopharyngeal swab) for obtaining patient samples and using that skill with minimal supervision.Ability to meet all safety and regulatory requirements.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Preference is given to persons with a medical background (such as EMT, MA, LPNs).*Background check required upon hire.*Candidates are required to perform PCR test on inmates Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Camden, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: One location
