Position : CR/DR Level II – North Slope, AK
Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY: The CR/DR level II Technician will perform non-destructive testing of piping systems and fixed equipment primarily to detect corrosion/erosion. This position will assist in code work as needed but will primarily be performing thickness testing using CR/DR profile. The work schedule will be a rotational hitch of 21 days on followed by 21 days off or 14 days on followed by 14 days off. Daily work shifts will be 12 hours.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current level II Computed/Digital Radiography profile certificationCurrent IRRSP or state cardC-Arm experienceCurrent level I or higher Rope Access certification or willingness to obtainCR Level II Code, UT, MT, PT Level II’s are all preferredAbility to follow and draft standard piping isometric drawingsMust have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s licenseESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must be able to routinely lift up to 75 lbs.Must be able to tolerate working in extreme climates (subzero temperatures) for extended periods of timeMust be comfortable working in cramped or confined spaces.This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.MISTRAS strives to provide a positive work environment that values excellence in safety and quality, free from discrimination and harassment.
