As a part of the Valtris team you will be challenged creatively and provided opportunities allowing your career to grow with you.Job SummaryProcess customer orders and act as point of communication between customers and operations (scheduling, quality control, production, shipping and field sales). Tasks include order entry, phone and email contact with customers and sales representatives; including processing and administration of international orders.Essential Responsibilities· Process customer orders received via phone, fax and email; provide pricing and delivery information to customers; including international customers· Process customer sample orders, MSDS and technical data sheet requests. Check stocks, verify ship dates and troubleshoot as necessary.· Handle E-commerce activities including but not limited to EDI, Web-enabled order transaction and miscellaneous inquires.· Reconcile month end consignment accounts.· Other miscellaneous tasks as directed including daily audits or orders, filling, etc.· Maintain and update customer master records.· Maintain accuracy and timeliness of system data to improve business performance and actively participate in business processes such as Sales and Operation Planning.· Conformance with the Valtris Quality and Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and awareness of ISO 9001 and RC14001 management system requirements applicable to this positionRequired Qualifications1. Some college preferred, Associates degree desired2. 1-3 years chemical customer service, or minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service3. Working knowledge of international order entry and processing preferred4. SAP experience preferred5. Computer and keyboard proficient in MS Office6. Experience with EDI. Working knowledge of internet and E-commerce7. Professional, service oriented telephone skills8. Prioritization and decision-making skills. Ability to meet deadlines9. Capable of working with little supervision10.
