Job Description
The Customer Support Manager oversees, motivates, and directs a team of Customer Support Representatives. The team is focused on customer service, building stronger relationships with existing customers, developing new ones, supporting the outside sales team, reporting and analyzing sales figures, and handling the release of new products. The Customer Support Manager sets and tracks goals for the Customer Support Reps and develops and improves new and existing processes. This position works closely with all departments and reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. ** Covid-19 Vaccination is a condition of employment and proof of vaccination will be required upon hire**
Core Responsibilities (Includes but is not limited to)
Oversee Customer Support Reps to ensure a high-level of service to both customers and outside sales teams.
Coordinate efforts across different JPE departments for positive and collaborative sales objectives.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Become familiar with JPE parts and other distribution lines.
Evaluate customer quotes and orders for cross-sell opportunities and follow up and coordinate those efforts with the Customer Support Reps.
Direct Sales Analyst on varying actionable projects to recapture lost sales, find new opportunities, and forecasting.
Utilize JPE’s ERP system (Quantum) to manage and improve on existing processes.
Research and identify new sales opportunities.
Identify and execute constant improvement plans within the sales group.
Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills
Detail oriented with strong analytical reasoning required.
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Sales experience in a manufacturing / distribution environment, handling multiple product lines with strong emphasis on cross-selling, price negotiation, and follow up desired.
Strong Microsoft Office skills required, with an emphasis on MS Excel.
Experience with Quantum Control a plus.
Education

Four-year degree highly favored

Salary position commensurate with experience.
