Position : Data Entry & Benefits Liaison Associate
Job Description : ADHS is seeking to hire a Data Entry & Benefits Liaison Associate who is a perfectionist when it comes to detail, organization, thoroughness, and accuracy. This position will be responsible for several diverse and technical processes and functioning as the Benefits Liaison between ADHS and ADOA.
Job Duties:
Processes personnel actions from source documents within time limits. Reviews daily input of personnel actions, ensuring accuracy, documenting, and correcting errors. Researches and responds to inquiries regarding personnel records and general personnel management functions.Serves and the Benefits Liaison between ADHS & ADOA. Researches and responds to inquiries regarding qualifying life events and general benefits questions.Prepares correspondence regarding benefits eligibility, premiums, and billings.
Serve as backup to the front desk to answer phones and assist employees that come to the Human resources office; review HR email box, respond and resolve routine customer inquires or forward messages to appropriate person.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of and/or ability to learn:
HRIS System data processing.HRIS Report WriterADOA Personnel Rules, ADOA compensation guidelines, Federal HR laws, work application, and flowComputer software such as Google, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and database managementGeneral mathematical calculations
Performance Management (PM), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and Lean methodologies.
Skill in:

Selective Preference(s):
Two or more years experience with data entry, record/document maintenance, HR, or similar databases.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Employees who drive on state business require possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete any driver training (See Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11).

Retirement:
To help you build a financially secure future, the State makes monthly contributions to finance your retirement benefit. The State will make a contribution to the ASRS in an amount equal to your contribution. In other words, you and the State will each pay 50% of the total cost of the benefit. New State employees have a 27 week wait period for contributions to begin.
