Job Description : Director of Social Media (full time, exempt)Team 624 Communications is looking for a Director of Social Media to grow and lead our clients’ social media strategies. This position is a hybrid remote/on-site position, reporting to our CEO. This role oversees all of our client’s paid and organic social strategies, as well as content creation and creator partnerships. They will lead a team of full-time employees and freelancers to drive strong social results for our portfolio of clients. Additionally, the Director of Social Media will support the CEO in pushing our social media service lines forward to grow the business and keep up with the fast-paced nature of social.Requirements: A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in social media roles (agency setting preferred)Experience overseeing and/or implementing paid social campaigns, or demonstrated knowledge of the paid social landscapeStrong understanding of what content drives engagement and growth on individual social platforms, and proven experience creating compelling social contentAbility to work effectively with creative team, including contractors such as photographers, graphic designers and copywritersSuperior knowledge of social media landscape, trends, tools, etc.Love of social media – avid personal userStrong leadership skills and ability to nurture and grow a teamExceptional communication skills and a high level of maturityEntrepreneurial spirit – work closely with CEO to grow the businessWillingness to be flexible and get hands dirty to support your teamResponsibilities: Lead platform strategy for all social media clients for FB, IG, Pinterest, TikTok & other emerging platformsServe as direct manager for a full time Content Creator, contract Paid Social Specialist, and oversee Social Media Community ManagersOversee all paid social strategy & manage paid social contractors to ensure seamless communication and strong results with all clientsServe as Account Manager for a few key clientsWork with Client Relationship Manager to ensure clients’ expectations are being met and exceeded through excellent work and timely delivery of servicesOversee all organic social media strategy, ensuring a high level of creativity, accuracy and strategy is reflected on all client accountsStay up-to-the-minute on social media strategy best practices, platform changes and relay all info to the full team regularlyResearch and identify learning opportunity for the team such as webinars, online courses, conferences, etc. to push our social media capabilities forwardOversee all social content creation and manage FT Content Creator. Ensure photoshoots are productive and that all content is produced with social best practices in mind.Develop creator’s partnership program in partnership with Content CreatorIdentify tools to support enhanced workflow and performance of all social channelsDevelop full social media strategies for project-based (Audit) clientsManage social media reportingAgency Overview: Team 624 Communications is a small but prominent marketing agency in Philadelphia that helps thoughtful businesses build real relationships with the modern consumer through creativity and a fresh perspective.
