Job Description : St. Luke’s Cataract and Laser Institute in Tarpon Springs, FL is recruiting for a Director of Technology, Innovation, and Strategy.The Director of Technology, Innovation, and Strategy is a pivotal member of the Executive Leadership Team and partners with Business Segments, Functional Leaders, and External Partners while leading the Enterprise Technology team to create the future state technology vision and oversee the development and implementation of technology strategies and roadmaps for St. Luke’s.Works with EVP to align on development and implementation strategies to build and mature the global technology functions. Champions early pre-transformation ideas (“innovations”) to shape the strategic agenda and technology roadmap. Establishes and oversees the delivery operating model across architecture, cloud, engineering, analytics, and platforms.Effectively communicates Organization vision across the IT organization and the Company.Oversees and directs the technology change management and adaptation. Partners cross-functionally to ensure alignment in roll-out approach.Oversees and directs operational investments for strategic platforms. Defines and oversees an effective governance of resources and demand to meet enterprise needs.Develops short- and long-range product and service strategies and plans. Oversees the execution of operating plans for organization.Develops strategy to mitigate overall exposure and risk for programs within organization. Ensures all risks, issues and blind spots are being actively addressed to avoid negative outcomes.Enables a collaborative working environment by identifying risks, help troubleshoots, resolves, and escalates issues and risks to the next level and/or Business Owners, when necessary.Directs, organizes, and manages key relationships, including but not limited to client Business Owner and stake holders. Responsible as a single point of contact for key external relationships into the organization.Establishes and tracks goals, strategies and metrics against business goals and objectives. Directs and oversees the production of reports used to support short-term and long-term strategies/plans.Performs as idea generator, working with others as a thought leader and subject- matter expert to help brainstorm new processes and solutions. Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.Leads, manages, mentors, coaches, and evaluates direct reports; develops employees through orientation, training establishing objectives, communication of rules, constructive discipline, including but not limited to performing regular one-on-one performance management meetings and conducting performance evaluations. Builds employee morale, motivation, and loyalty, aligned with overall CPMO goals.Qualifications: 5-10+ years of experience as a software/systems leadership/consulting, leading technology strategy, roadmap and solutioning across technology stacks.BS Comp Sci/ related technology area or equivalent work experienceDemonstrated experience in advocating technology solutions and driving alignment.Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience.An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams.Execution-oriented, and able to complete tasks independently.Comfortable working with all levels of the organization including senior executives.Proven ability to influence seniors and peers without direct authority; experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.Talented facilitator who skillfully leads strategy and planning discussions.Self-driven, detail-oriented leader who actively works to remove barriers to achieving results.Adapts to changes in priorities with ease, comfortable working “in the gray” while defining the way forward.Experience leading Strategy and Roadmap development, Technology solution evaluation, execution of Sourcing processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and Financial/Cost Modeling for Technology solutionsThe salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 with a 20% annual bonus.The Benefits of working for St. Luke’sMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k) with Employer Match, Paid Time Off, and Holiday PayOpportunity to work with a longstanding, reputable organizationCareer development opportunitiesSee more benefits at http://www.stlukeseye.com/careers/benefits/Why work at St. Luke’s?St. Luke’s is a well-established ophthalmic practice with seven locations in the Gulf Coast region of Florida.
