Position : Dispatcher – Construction
Job Description : Job Summary: Supervise daily assignments and performance of Fence Installers. Ensure that commitments to customers are fulfilled accurately, profitably and on a timely basis. Effectively manage resources to meet budgetary goals.Essential Functions: * Hiring and terminating direct reports* Build morale and a team approach to work processes* Coaching, disciplining and performance improvement* Monitor and control expenditures* Effectively communicate work priorities such as scheduling daily assignments* Responsible for adhering to DOT regulations* Keep accurate inventory (materials, products & vehicles)* OSHA Compliance* Ensure employees maintain and service equipment and comply with safety standards* Verify actual work completed on contract to pay sheet* Maintain Dispatch Log throughout the day* Route daily contracts* Prepare load sheets and material requisitions* Inspect truck loads for accuracy and safetyQualifications: High School Diploma/GED and 1-2 years related experience and/or training, supervising, coaching and hiring direct reportsConsistent good judgement to perform individual tasks and plan the work of othersAbility to make formal and informal presentations of product informationInnovation to meet customer requirements and/or production schedulesFamiliar with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measureAbility to use common sense understanding to carry out verbal or written instructionsLicense /CertificationsMust have a valid Driver’s License and be at least 21 years old to drive a company vehicleJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):Do you have at least 2 years of Supervisory experience?Experience:Dispatcher: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
