Job Description : Title: Field Deployment TechnicianSummary: LongPath Technologies uses Nobel Prize-winning laser technology to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from the natural gas supply chain. We are a unique and proven continuous methane emissions monitoring system that provides high-value monitoring at a low cost to oil and gas customers. We are looking for a Field Deployment Technician to join our growing deployment team.This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting, rapidly expanding company positioned to make a positive impact on the environment.Responsibilities and Duties: The Field Deployment Technician will be a hands on member of a team responsible for the field installation and maintenance of Long Path Technologies emissions monitoring systems. System installation includes pre-deployment assembly, site preparation, mechanical installation, system integration and test. The field deployment technicians will report to the Field Superintendant.Responsibilities include: Perform all activities associated with the installation of the emissions monitoring system according to established work proceduresFollow safety procedures in performing all required tasksPreassembly of certain mechanical system componentsInstallation of the system tower and equipmentLocation and installation of reflector polesInstallation and integration of the system electronics cabinetAssist with documenting procedures and identify process improvementsQualification and Skills: Ability to work independently and follow established proceduresStrong safety consciousness, and adherence to all safety protocol and proceduresOrganized, linear troubleshooting skills and problem solving skillsMap interpretationMechanical aptitudeGood communications skillsAttention to detail, creativity and imaginationAdditional preferred skills: Fiber optic experienceTelehandler and Manlift certificationRigging experienceInterest in working with new technologiesFluent SpanishHigh School Degree or betterWork Environment: Work is performed primarily in a oil field environmentPrimary job locations will be in the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin located in north east Colorado and south east WyomingOccasional travel outside the greater DJ basin may be requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
