Job Description : JOB TITLE: Waipio Soccer Complex Field MarshallTYPE OF POSITION: Temporary ContracrREPORTS TO: CEO & PresidentLOCATION: Waipio Soccer ComplexAPPLICATIONS DEADLINE: March 2, 2022START DATE: March 2022OBJECTIVE: The objective of the Field Marshall is to contribute to the general support and game day operations of the Oahu League of Hawaii Youth Soccer.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: General support to the referees and game day operations staffAssist in the set-up of the Spring Outdoor fieldsMaintain a positive and sportsmanlike environment around the playing fieldsMonitor behavior of parents/fans. This includes the use of obscene or highly abusive language, or continued berating of officials or those involved in play.Ensure spectators are not sitting on the player side of the field.KEY ATTRIBUTESEffective communication skills – written and spoken English.Strong Team PlayerLove of sportCOMPENSATION: is an hourly position. The league runs three seasons, Spring, Fall and Winter all at Waipio Soccer Complex. HOURSTypically, 7am-6pm Saturday and SundaysABOUT OAHU LEAGUE OF THE HAWAII YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATIONWith over 4,200 players registered annually, Oahu League is dedicated to the development of well-balanced, successful players at the competitive levels.
