Job Description : FIELD SERVICE TECHNICAN
Job Summary
The Field Specialist performs hands-on work in the field, controlling the application of industry-leading services and technologies to ensure our customers receive optimal solutions and products of the highest quality. This position is directly responsible for the wellsite service delivery of technologies for subsea well testing, perforating, and control system operations, in terms of safety, efficiency, and quality.
The Field Specialist reports to the Field Service Manager or to the Engineer in Charge
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ability to drive long distances and follow rigorous safety and procedural guidelines from corporate and our customers
The Cameron Group Field Specialist will provide hands-on technical supervision and operating support, installation, repair and maintenance of Cameron Group equipment and services.
Controls quality of wellsite services performance and ensures delivery of high-quality products to our customers, including; well testing, downhole tools, reservoir sampling, subsea landing strings and perforating equipment.
Ensures equipment is ready and available at the jobsite according to plan.
Organizes and participates in training and development of assigned operators, crew, and trainees.
Performs reporting and administrative duties accurately and according to schedule.
Keeps technical status of assigned tools and equipment up to date.
This role requires travel toward refinery and/or platform in Houston and other locations or countries, 75% in field, 25% office activities, including but not limited to finance, cost and billing activities.
This role answers client calls in different technologies:
Surface service for crude oil treatment
Pressure treatment
Gas treatment
Water treatment
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education desired: Mechanical Engineer/Electric Engineer or Process Engineer
At least 2- to 3-year associate degree or certification from a technical college
A minimum of 3 years experience as an offshore well testing field specialist with knowledge in one or two technologies: surface service for crude oil treatment, pressure treatment, gas treatment, water treatment
Availability to travel in different countries
Must be able to legally work and reside in the US without sponsorship
