Job Description : Flagger
Our construction company is looking for Flaggers to assist our power line & OSP crews. You are responsible for directing cars and machinery, so you need to have a keen sense of your surroundings, strictly observe safety regulations, and be willing to work in all weather conditions. Our ideal candidate has experience in the telecommunication construction industry, but we are willing to work with anyone that has the communication skills and physical stamina to perform the duties. Must be able to pass a background and Drug test.
Qualifications:
Current state of Washington flagging certificate
Current Valid Drivers License
Must be able to pass Drug test
Familiarity with traffic laws
Physical stamina
Teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
Experience managing crews, traffic, or job sites
Reading and understanding traffic control plans
Experience working with power line crews
Essential Duties:
Direct traffic around your job site
Keep workers aware of traffic conditions
Place warning signs to alert drivers
Remove signs, cones, and barriers after the job is complete
Report negligent drivers
