Our team has always been the key to our success as we value innovation, dedication and growth within the company.*JOB DESCRIPTION: *The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting and helping patients and parents. Their duties include checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries and maintaining records for Tribeca Pediatrics offices.*ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*Front Desk Receptionists work simultaneously checking in and out patients as well as the following responsibilities:Provide seamless customer serviceEnsure patient information is accurate including demographic info, billing/insurance informationNotifying parents of outstanding balance, copays as taking paymentsFacilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staffRegister new patientsSchedule, Move, Cancel and Confirm AppointmentsAnswer general questions about the practice in a courteous mannerFill out and send School/Camp Medical FormsForward messages to RN/ProvidersCall in, fax and/or print prescriptionsProcess fax transmissions and emails through Salesforce appropriatelyMaintain an organized, efficient and professional work environmentKeep office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needsAssist with provider needs/requestsAdhere to all practice policies and remain HIPAA CompliantWork on special projects or task designated by department managerPotential assignment as a trainer after 90 day review. Training bonus offered.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalency Degree (GED)1+ Years of Customer Service Experience (Additional training provided)Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importanceSALARYStarting rate – $17.00/hr with opportunity for increase in 90 days after hireENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONSClinical Office EnvironmentJob Type: Full-time
